Directions to Ascension of Our Lord & St. Francis Catholic Churches

Traveling West on Louisiana State Highway 70 (from I-10 and LA Hwy 22): Upon crossing the Mississippi River on the Sunshine Bridge, and passing through a traffic signal, look for the Best Western Hotel on the RIGHT.  Turn RIGHT on LA Hwy 3120 and travel 1 mile.  Turn LEFT on LA Hwy 18 (River Road). Upon entering the Donaldsonville City Limits, you will see the Ascension church and its steeple straight ahead: 716 Mississippi Street.

To get to St. Francis Church, continue on LA Hwy 18 (River Road) past Ascension Church until it becomes Veterans Blvd. At the intersection of Veterans Blvd. and West 10th St., take right (corner of CVS Pharmacy). Continue on West 10th St. for a mile. The church is on the right.
